Honig’s and the European Lacrosse Federation Make ‘The Right Call’

London, England & Denver, Colorado (June 10, 2019) — The European Lacrosse Federation (ELF) is pleased to announce Honig’s as the Official Outfitter for Umpires and Referees in all championships for three years. The agreement includes the 2019 Men’s U20 European Championships as well as the 2019 Women’s European Championships and 2019 Ken Galluccio Cup (European Club Championships).
In addition to its 2019 commitment, Honig’s will be the Official Outfitter for the following two years of each championship series, including the 2020 Men’s European Championships, the 2020 Ken Galluccio Cup, the 2021 European Box Lacrosse Championships and the 2021 Ken Galluccio Cup.
Honig’s, headquartered in Denver, Colo., has been providing gear for officials in nearly every sport played from the amateur level through professional leagues, including the National Football League and Major League Baseball since 1984. Owned and operated by Greg Wilson, a 10-year veteran Back Judge in the NFL, Honig’s will provide all ELF umpires and referees with their game day equipment, including jerseys, shorts and skorts.
“Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States, and we are proud and thrilled to partner with the European Lacrosse Federation and its officials,” Kelsey Duckett, CEO of Honig’s said. “Honig’s has led the way in officiating apparel for 35 years, and our goal is simple: Ensure that officials look great on the field – and we are excited to watch ELF officials walk on the field every game in the best apparel in the industry.”
ELF is honoured to partner with a brand with a long history producing quality sporting apparel and excited to equip officials at all ELF events for three years.
“We’re really proud to be working with Honig’s,” said Stephanie Migchelsen, president of ELF. “Honig’s has a long history in sportswear and in particular sportswear for officials, umpires and referees. We’re very excited that they’ll be part of our European events for the next three years and part of the European Lacrosse family going forward.”
