Canada – United States
Canada continued its remarkable undefeated streak at the 2024 World Lacrosse Men’s Box Championship, warding off the United States, 13-7, to claim its sixth gold medal in the event on Sunday at the Adirondack Bank Center.

Slovakia – China
China used a strong second half to pull away from Slovakia in a 17-12 victory on Sunday in the 15th place match.
China earned 15th place in its first ever appearance in the men’s box championship.
Ben Stewart finished his fantastic tournament with nine goals and two assists for China. Chris Dong added a hat-trick and four assists, while Kevin Dong tallied a hat-trick and an assist.
For Slovakia, Simon Thomay and Jackson Suboch each recorded a hat-trick. The team was outscored 10-6 in the second half.
Ben Thibault played the entire game for China and saved 28 shots. For Slovakia, Lee Jackman saved 28 of 35 shots in the first half, and Branislav Adam saved 25 of 35 in the second half. China held a dominant 70-40 shots-on-goal advantage.
Italy – U.S. Virgin Islands
Italy’s Lucas Dudemaine netted the final goal of the game with five minutes to play to give his team a 14-13 win over the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Italy took home 13th place with the victory, and closed its first appearance at the men’s box championship with four consecutive wins.
Dudemaine was phenomenal, tallying six goals and four assists. Massimiliano Bonizzoni added a hat-trick in Italy’s nail-biting win.
On the USVI’s side, Dante Poli netted five goals, and Nick McEvoy added a hat-trick and four assists.
The USVI leaves Utica in 14th place in its first appearance in the event, with a strong showing in placement play.
Scotland – Poland
Poland connected on the final two goals of the game to secure a 10-8 win over Scotland and finish the World Lacrosse Box Championships in 17th place.
Scotland tied the game up at 8-8 with four minutes to play, but Christopher Crapanzano cashed in on the power play with under three minutes to play to give Poland the lead.
Crapanzano was Poland’s star forward again, finishing with four goals and two assists. Tyler Kolodka added two and two.
Zac Milne led the way for Scotland with a hat-trick. Cam Fewster added two goals in the tight loss.
David Zajac excelled, saving 41 shots for Poland. Scotland’s Josh Gamble saved 31.
Scotland wraps up play in 18th place.
