Canada got back on track in Pool A with a 9-5 win over Australia on Friday night at Unitas Stadium.

Dana Dobbie continued her hot shooting with her second straight hat trick on exactly three shots – she’s 6-6 so far in Towson. The three time All-World selection has the most goals without missing a shot yet at the tournament.

Canada managed the low scoring game with a 13-5 edge in draw controls, spurred by seven from Kaylin Morissette. Canada importantly won all five in the first quarter and all six in the fourth.

The Canadians also had more efficiency on their free position shots, going 5-8 compared to a 1-6 clip for their opponents.

Canada improved to 1-1 while Australia dropped to 0-2. Canada has the Saturday and will face a currently-undefeated England squad on Sunday, while Australia gets the day four finale against the USA tomorrow, which is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
