Wales Names Final Roster for World Championship

(from press release) Coach Dan Funnell has selected his Welsh squad for the 2014 Federation of International Lacrosse World Championship in Denver. After a series of competitive trials held in the UK, the coaching team made their final choices on Sunday, November 3, 2013.
“The trials were hugely encouraging and it was tough to make a final call but we wanted to get the squad fixed early to help preparations for the Championships,” said Coach Funnell. “It is a fantastic honour to represent your country and we are looking forward to Denver and know it will be a brilliant tournament with the opportunity for our players to test themselves against top players from around the world.
“Expectation is starting to build now and, although we have a lot of work still to do, everyone involved with Wales Lacrosse has July, 2014 firmly focussed in their hearts and minds.”
