The United States stunned the hosts and rivals Canada, 8-7, in the gold medal game to win the 2023 Super Sixes title in Oshawa Ontario.
The win was a reversal of the two teams’ meeting on day two of the competition, which Canada won 14-10. The United States also flipped the script from The World Games 2022, when Canada narrowly edged the USA on its home soil in the gold medal match.
Dempsey Arsenault scored the game-winning goal with 1:41 to play.
