U.S.A. Places Five Players On World Team At 2019 World Lacrosse Women’s U19 World Championship

Five players from gold medal-winning Team USA highlight the 10-person World Team at the 2019 World Lacrosse Women’s U19 World Championship in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. The 10 players are being honored for their outstanding play throughout the World Championship.
Named to the 2019 World Team are:

Maddie Jenner, USA
Izzy Scane, USA
Caitlyn Wurzburger, USA
Kylea Dobson, Canada
Eve Hritzuk, Canada
Madi Copeland, Australia
Kokoro Nakazawa, Japan
Hannah Thurston, England
The largest field ever for a World Lacrosse Women’s U19 World Championship featured 22 teams, including nine that were competing in the U19 World Championship for the first time ever.
Team USA secured the gold medal with a 13-3 victory over Team Canada this afternoon. Australia defeated England to claim the bronze medal, 13-8.
