The Netherlands pulled out a dramatic 8-7 win over the Switzerland White squad in overtime on Sunday to claim the 2025 Men’s EuroLax Sixes Cup in Portugal.
Joris Untersalmberger fired home the title-clinching goal for the Netherlands, who finished the three days of competition with a 6-1 record.



Switzerland White took home the silver medal after advancing to the title game with a 4-1 record in round robin play.
Armenia, the 93rd and newest member of World Lacrosse, impressed in its debut at the event finishing third and going 4-1 in round robin play, including a win over the silver medalist Switzerland White squad.
Portugal claimed three wins with Luxembourg securing two as well over the weekend.
Roger Ernst of the Switzerland White squad led the men’s competition with 29 points on 23 goals and six assists. Armenia boasted the second and third top attackers on points in Ara Atayan and Declan Palandjian, while Till Schutze of Switzerland was tied with Palandjian on points. Portugal’s Noah Rosa and Netherlands’ Casper Bovy rounded out the top five point totals with 22 each.
The Netherlands posted the best scoring defense, allowing 47 goals in seven games with goalkeeper Enrico de Jong in net.
The final standings are below. The next event on World Lacrosse’s sanctioned event calendar is the Hong Kong Lacrosse Open in April, followed by qualifiers for World Lacrosse championships in May and July.
