COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, USA – The media accreditation process is now open for three major international lacrosse competitions this year: the 2022 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship, The World Games 2022 and the 2022 World Lacrosse Men’s U21 Championship.
The 2022 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship will be contested from June 29 to July 9 at Towson University in Maryland, USA. The tournament is the major international championship for women’s lacrosse and features the top female lacrosse players in the world, representing 30 countries.

The World Games 2022 will be held from July 7 to July 17 in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, and are an international, multi-sport event held quadrennially with more than 3,600 athletes from over 100 countries. The World Games will feature the global debut of World Lacrosse Sixes, a shorter, faster-paced version of the sport, with 16 teams from nine countries competing in the men’s and women’s events.
The men’s competition will take place from July 8 to July 12, and the women’s competition will begin on July 12 and finish on July 16. All games will be held at PNC Park at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

The 2022 World Lacrosse Men’s U21 Championship will be held from August 10 to 20 in Limerick, Ireland, at the University of Limerick. The event features 23 teams in the largest-ever age group world championship staged by World Lacrosse.
