Japan Crowns Two Champions at the 2019 Asia Pacific Lacrosse Championships

On the final day of the Asia Pacific Lacrosse Championships (ASPAC), two champions were crowned after the ten-day tournament in Gyeongju, Korea. The tournament, hosted by Korea Lacrosse Association, featured six Men’s and Women’s teams competing from seven nations.

In the Men’s Championship Game, Japan came away with the victory over Australia, 9-4, to win the 2019 Asia Pacific Lacrosse Championship. In the third-place game, Korea claimed the victory over Hong Kong, 6-3.

In the Women’s Championship Game, Japan had a dominating performance over Korea, winning 15-3, becoming the 2019 Asia Pacific Lacrosse Champions. In the third-place game New Zealand won, 9-6, over Hong Kong and in the fifth-place game China won a close one against Chinese Taipei, 9-8.

Japan swept through the tournament, winning both 2019 Asia Pacific Lacrosse Championships.
