Ireland took care of business against Jamaica on day five of the women’s U20 championship in Hong Kong, China, winning comfortably to set up a Tuesday blockbuster with England.
With the win, Ireland is 3-0, and one of four undefeated teams left in the field. Yet, Japan and England can both get to three wins, leaving the fate of the two playoff spots in Pool D up to the final day. Japan needs a win against Hong Kong, China in the final game of Tuesday to advance.

Ireland’s 21-2 scoreline against Jamaica was powered by Jane Howlett, who won player of the match with a 9 for 11 win rate on draw controls to go with two goals.
Kendra Harris contributed in attack with six goals and two assists. Amy Bolton recorded five points and Ava Connaughton added four.
Cadence Mullings and Arianna West scored for Jamaica and Krisandra Ford made 11 saves. Jamaica will be back in action on Thursday.
