GALLUCCIO CUP | European Club Championships | Women’s Finals Summary

LCC Radotin 15 | Edinburgh University 6 (Semi-Final 1)
Tereza Karnetova scored two of the final four consecutive goals for LCC Radotin after a close game through the first 34 minutes. Centaurs Lacrosse Club 11 | Domstad Devils 0 (Semi-Final 2)
Centaurs left no room for debate, as they shut out the Netherlands’ Domstad Devils to reach the women’s championship game. Sophie Morrill scored three consecutive goals to break the game open. Poznan Hussars Ladies 12 | Dublin Lacrosse 3 (11th Place)
Pia Balz scored three of the Polish club’s final three goals as they pulled away from Dublin in the second half to cruise to an easy victory. Sundbyberg Lacrosse Club 9 | Red Rhinos 2 (9th Place)
Anna-Klara Nilsson scored four goals and Sara Bjork three as Sweden’s top club took home ninth-place with a win over the home-country Red Rhinos. Wettingen Wild 7 | Graz Gladiators 4 (7th Place)
Wettingem Wild’s Evelyne Eicher’s offensive heroics helped the Swiss Club capture 7th place. Eicher scored five of the Wild’s seven goals en route to victory. HLC Rot-Weiβ München 7 | Christiana Lacrosse 4 (5th Place)

Edinburgh University 13 | Domstad Devils 8 (bronze medal game)
Hannah Whiteley and Zoe Dickson each scored four goals as Edinburgh University of Scotland defeated the Domstad Devils of The Netherlands in the Bronze Medal Game.  The Devils jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Edinburgh answered with five of the game’s next six goals. Sophie Morrill proved to be one of the tournament’s top offensive player, scoring seven goals as the English club defeated the Czech Republic’s top team to win the European Club Championships at the Ken Galluccio Cup in Ghent, Belgium. Sophy Coombes Roberts added to the scoring punch with five goals.
