Day Six Top Performers

Logan Ip delivered a clutch performance for Hong Kong, China with six goals and an assist in a a 14-7 win over Mexico, a game Hong Kong needed to win by six goals to advance to the playoffs.  

Casey Hughes stood tall for Wales in goal with 11 saves in the 7-6 quadruple-overtime win over France. Hughes made three of his 11 saves in the overtime periods.  

JP Henry erupted for five goals and two assists in Peru’s resounding 17-5 win over Korea, Peru’s first in San Diego. Henry is tied for fourth in goals among all individuals in the championship with 13 total.  

Christian Cuccinello was a one-man wrecking crew for Italy against Austria, amassing six goals and two assists in a 19-4 win. His 22 points through four games are second most in the championship.  

Nathaniel Solomon took over for Israel’s offense once more, delivering five goals and an assist in a 14-4 win over the Czech Republic. Solomon is fifth in points in San Diego with 17 total .  

Brady Wijbrandts was part of an incredible team defensive effort by the Netherlands in a must-win game against Latvia. He caused a turnover and picked up a team-high three ground balls as the Netherlands won 4-1 and clinched a playoff spot.
