World Lacrosse mourns passing of Haudenosaunee Nationals’ Noah Snyder

It is with profound sorrow that World Lacrosse acknowledges the tragic passing of Noah Snyder, a gifted member of the Haudenosaunee Nationals U20 men’s lacrosse team, and his teammate, Scott Michaud of Marquette University, who were both killed in a car accident last night in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Noah represented the spirit and excellence of international lacrosse, competing with tremendous heart at the recent World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship in Jeju Island, South Korea. His performance left a lasting impression on teammates, competitors, and fans alike.

We extend our deepest condolences to Noah’s family, friends, teammates and the broader Haudenosaunee community, as well as to the loved ones of Scott Michaud. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this heartbreaking loss.

We mourn not only the loss of two promising young athletes, but two cherished members of our lacrosse family. May their legacies continue to inspire.
