The Atlas Cup concluded on Sunday with Canada taking the men’s title and the United States securing the women’s title in sixes competition in Sparks, Maryland.
The United States women prevailed over rivals Canada, 18-11, on the final day to finish 3-0. The Canada men defeated the United States 23-18 on day two and wrapped up an undefeated campaign with a 26-13 victory over Puerto Rico.

In the women’s competition, Chloe Humphrey was given the Titan Award for the most valuable player. She finished with 10 goals and 18 points in the three games.
The women’s All-Tournament team also included Sierra Cockerille of the Haudenosaunee, Erica Evans and Nicole Perroni from Canada, and Shea Dolce and Charlotte North of the United States.
Jeff Teat claimed the Titan Award in the men’s competition and was joined on the All-Tournament team by Jake Piseno of the Haudenosaunee, Matt Brandau and Ryan Terefenko from the United States, as well as fellow Canadians Brett Dobson and Willem Firth.

In just a few weeks, international men’s and women’s sixes competition will resume at Super Sixes – Canada in Oshawa, Ontario from October 8-10 with 10 men’s teams and eight women’s teams.
