Colorado Springs, CO – World Lacrosse is pleased to announce that they will offer the “How to Coach Kids” online course, which was designed by the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, Nike and Project Play in an effort to elevate youth sport coaching in the United States. The course is a first-of-its-kind resource for helping youth coaches provide an exceptional sport experience by giving coaches the tools to effectively connect and coach today’s young athletes.
TJ Buchanan, Director of Sport Development for World Lacrosse said “ We are greatly appreciative of the USOPC and their partners who developed this course. The ability to provide this resource for free to the coaches in our 62 member nations is a great step forward in World Lacrosse’s commitment to grassroots lacrosse development.”
Chris Snyder, Director of Coaching Education for the USOPC commented, “Coaches play a crucial role in the experience, development, and performance of athletes. We’re excited to work with World Lacrosse as they inspire and empower coaches globally to create a more positive experience for youth in sport.” The course is available now via the World Lacrosse coaching webpage or by downloading the How to Coach Kids app.
