The Fly Sixes Lacrosse League, the world’s first national sixes lacrosse league, will begin its fifth season with its opening weekend at Blackheath Rugby Club, London on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May.
The 2025 edition will once again feature Swift, Rise, Hustle, and Forge as the four men’s and four women’s teams competing for the championship.

Last year saw Forge secure both the men’s and women’s titles, the first time one franchise had won both trophies, and the women’s team is searching for its fourth title in a row.
Ten nations will be represented during The Fly in 2025 with players from England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Germany, Italy, China, Australia, United States, and Canada all participating.
With the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles just over three years away, The Fly Sixes Lacrosse League is a way for players all over the world to hone their sixes skills in an elite performance environment.
The Fly Sixes Lacrosse League 2025 will conclude with its Finals Weekend at the Manchester Regional Arena on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1.
Germany
Three German internationals will play at The Fly in 2025, including Rintaro Fujita, Justin Wismer, and Jule Neubauer.
Making his The Fly debut in 2025, Rintaro Fujita is an experienced two-way midfielder who has represented Germany across the sixes, field, and box discipline Fujita has taken part in two European and two World Lacrosse Championships and represented Austria for three years while studying at university in Vienna.
Fujita will play for Swift this year, led by British Lacrosse coach Ravi K. Sitlani, who are searching for their first men’s title.
Also making their The Fly debut this year is midfielder Jule Neubauer who has been a part of the Germany senior team since 2017, appearing in one World Lacrosse championship and one European Championship.
A current member of the Victoria Lacrosse Berlin team, Neubauer has played in the Ken Galluccio Cup on two occasions and has been playing sixes since 2023. She’ll join Rise at The Fly 2025 as they hunt for their first women’s title.
The final German representative at The Fly 2025 is Justin Wismer, who returns to the competition after scoring 18 points and helping Swift to finish second last year.
A member of The Fly 2024 All-Star Team, Wismer is a two-time European Championship runner-up with Germany.
China
Another debutant in 2025, 24-year-old James Xu joins The Fly fresh after representing China at last year’s World Lacrosse Box Championships in Utica. During that competition, the two-way midfielder scored six goals and nine assists in his seven appearances as his side finished 15th.
United States
Making a return to The Fly after a two-year absence, Corey Carver switches allegiances from Swift to Rise in 2025 after scoring 11 goals and making the All-Star Team in 2022.
An experienced midfielder who has played in his home country while studying at Cabrini University, Carver has since moved permanently to the UK where he has played for Brooklands and is the current assistant coach of the England U20 men’s team.
Italy
Yet another newcomer to The Fly in 2025 is 24-year-old Italy international Sebastian Di Siena who will pull on the red and yellow jersey of Rise this season.
A two-way midfielder by trade, Di Siena was a part of Italy’s senior training squad for the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship in San Diego and has represented both Hillcroft and Reading at club level in England.
Ireland
Hailing from Ireland, Danny Fagan is a goalkeeper with international experience including in the 2024/25 Ireland senior training squad and the Ireland sixes team.
The current Bristol Bombers captain at club level as well as a member of the Bristol University first team, Fagan has also played for MCC Lacrosse and City of Stoke over the past six years.
Fagan will join Rise as they look to snatch back the title they won in both 2021 and 2022.
Australia
Having begun his international career over 10 years ago in 2014, Thomas Graham makes his debut at The Fly in 2025 for Rise and brings a wealth of experience to the team.
Representing Australia, Graham has played in junior and senior World Lacrosse field championships as well as The World Games in 2022, where he helped his team to a sixth-place finish.
Graham currently plays Hampstead Lacrosse Club in London.
Canada
Blair Pachereva has played for Brock University in his native Canada and won everything there is to win in England with Nottingham Trent University. He’’s played semi-professional box lacrosse for the Toronto Monarchs and currently plays at club level for Brooklands in Manchester after a stint across the city for Stockport.
Having played for England at last year’s Home Internationals Series, Pachereva could also receive a first major tournament call-up at the upcoming Men’s European Lacrosse Championship.
Pachereva will team up with Hustle as Head Coach Alex Carnegie-Brown looks to secure her team a second men’s title.
Women’s Championship Bronze Medallists
This year’s The Fly Sixes Lacrosse League will feature no less than 10 players of the England squad who claimed bronze at the 2022 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship in Towson, Maryland three years ago.
Between them they have already made 93 appearances, scored 139 goals, and claimed six titles at The Fly over the past four seasons.
