England, Ireland, Israel and Italy became the first four teams from Europe to qualify for the 2027 Men’s Championship on day seven with quarterfinal wins at the 2025 European Men’s Lacrosse Championship on Wednesday

The semifinal round is set for Thursday with Italy facing Ireland at 3:40 p.m. CEST and Ireland taking on England at 7 p.m. CEST.
Three out of the remaining quarterfinalists will qualify for the 2027 Men’s Championship with a win in their remaining games.
France faces Latvia at 2 p.m. with a spot on the line, and Germany takes on Czechia in a pool play rematch at 4:30 p.m.
Elsewhere in Wroclaw, Portugal, Switzerland, Norway, the Netherlands, Croatia, Finland and Greece all picked up wins, with Portugal, Norway, Croatia, and Finland’s wins guaranteeing them spots in the 2027 World Lacrosse Men’s Division II Championship.
Overall, 12 teams are set in the Men’s Division II Championship field of 24 teams: Croatia, Greece, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland and Wales. The team that falls in the seventh place game will also receive a spot in the championship.
Bulgaria, Denmark, Sweden and Ukraine will compete over their last two games for the final spot in the 2027 Men’s Division II Championship, which is awarded to the winner of the 21st place game.
