Brett Kujala was one of the most prolific attackers at the 2024 World Lacrosse Men’s Box Championship in Utica, powering Finland’s efficient offense en-route to a top-ten placement.
Kujala finished tied for fifth in total points among all players at the championship with 49, averaging seven points a game in seven contests.

Finland’s attacking output was keyed by the group of Kujala, Robert Raittila, Roope Jokela, Jarno Aaltonen and Jimi Wiren. Kujala played at the point position, directing traffic and making defenses pay for any lapses in coverage with creative and quickfire finishes.
Finland finished in ninth place, defeating Germany in its final placement game, and also earned wins against Australia and Slovakia.
Kujala was at his best in the second game of Finland’s campaign, totaling nine goals and an assist against Greece.

He also submitted a an epic performance of six goals and six assists in a narrow 17-16 loss in the playoffs to Israel, who went on to finish fifth.
Kujala was appearing in his second box championship for Finland.
