Germany Lacrosse held Die Finals 2025, the first official men’s and women’s sixes championship to cap a Germany-wide two-tiered Sixes league in August in Dresden.
The final was held at at Teamsport Arena over the first weekend of August and the event was sold-out with a record crowd. The gold medal games were also broadcast live on German public television on ARD and both logged ratings of over one million viewers.

The championships were a strong milestone for Germany and its continued investment into sixes lacrosse as one of the most active teams in the European Lacrosse Federation in domestic and international competition. Germany Lacrosse recorded more players and teams in the sixes league in 2025 than in the field and box leagues in the same season.
The HTHC Hamburg women’s team claimed the gold medal with an 18-5 win over DHC Hannover. HTHC Hamburg was led by internationally capped German stars Theresa Geissinger and Toni Garbe, with seven points each.
The men’s Black and White Cologne team (Schwarz-Weiẞ Koln) defeated HTHC Hamburg to win the gold, 17-13. Cologne was led by an outstanding 10-goal effort from Justin Wismer and four goals from Leonard Noring. Between the two teams in the final, seven were named to Germany’s national team that competed at Super Sixes – Canada in October.

The other women’s semifinalists were Rot-Weiss Munchen and Black and White Cologne. The men’s semifinalist field was rounded out by TSG Tubingen and SC Frankfurt.
Each sixes league for men and women features two divisions in both the North and South regions of Germany. Over the finals weekend, teams from over 14 different cities in Germany competed in the men’s and women’s competitions, with clubs from Berlin, Bremen, Cologne, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Freiburg, Hamburg, Gottingen, Karlsburg, Marburg, Mainz, Munich, Stuttgart and Tubingen.

Replays of both finals are available on ARD for fans within Germany.
