World Lacrosse held the first-ever NGB Best Practices Seminar in Gyeongju, South Korea today as part of the effort to strengthen the operations of the National Governing Bodies within lacrosse. The Asia Pacific Lacrosse Union (APLU) hosted World Lacrosse Chief Executive Officer Jim Scherr, Sport Development Director TJ Buchanan and Sport Governance Advisor Steve Roush in a workshop that coincides with the ASPAC Championships in Korea.
Topics covered during the workshop included Good Governance, NGB Business Development, Fundraising, Sport Development, Athlete Development Model and High Performance Planning. The workshop was successful with great dialogue among the 25 participants who attended.
