The European Box Lacrosse Championships are currently the only continental box lacrosse championships, with 15 men’s teams and five women’s team from the most recent World Lacrosse Box Championships in 2024 in the field in Prague.

The first edition of the championships were held in 2017 in Turku, Finland, followed by the most recent edition in 2022 in Hannover, Germany.

England will defend its men’s title after defeating Germany in 2022, and this year’s edition of the championship features the largest field yet. Israel, Czechia and Finland have all medalled in the past, while Italy, Portugal, Norway and Wales are making their debut in the event.

England’s women’s box team led the European contingent in Utica in 2024, followed in the standings by Germany and the Netherlands. Israel and Czechia are making their debut.
