Two Champions Crowned on the Final Day of the Hong Kong Lacrosse Open

On the final day of the Hong Kong Lacrosse Open, two champions were made after four days of competition. In the first Men’s semifinal game, FOGO defeated Beijing Lacrosse, 15-4 to move on to the finals later in the day. They would face the winner of the second semifinal game that featured Hong Kong Representative Team versus Team JJ. Hong Kong Representative Team won the tight game, 6-4 to move on to the finals.

In the Men’s Championship Game, FOGO came away with a close victory, 7-6 over Hong Kong Representative Team to take the 2019 Hong Kong Lacrosse Open Championship.

In the Women’s first semifinal game, Hong Kong Representative Team defeated KEIO 2, 10-4 to move on to the finals where they would face the winner of KEIO 1 vs. FUN. The second Women’s semifinal game included a dominate performance by KEIO 1 as they shut-out FUN 9-0 to move on to the finals.

The Women’s Championship game featured Hong Kong Representative Team versus KEIO 1. It was close throughout the game with KEIO 1 pulling out the victory 9-8 over Hong Kong Representative Team, claiming the 2019 Hong Kong Lacrosse Open Championship.

The final day also include the consolation games for both the Men’s and Women’s divisions.
