ELF Women’s European Championship to be Available on the Olympic Channel

Colorado Springs, CO – The European Lacrosse Federation (ELF) and World Lacrosse are pleased to announce that 16 matches from the upcoming ELF Women’s European Championship will be streamed live on the International Olympic Committee’s global Olympic Channel.
The ELF Women’s European Championship will be held July 16-25 in Netanya, Israel. The ELF Women’s European Championship is the first event through which the Olympic Channel and World Lacrosse will work together in efforts to bring coverage of international lacrosse to viewers around the world.

Offering year-round coverage of Olympic sports and elite athletes in their quest for success, the Olympic Channel over-the-top (OTT) service is available worldwide and subscription-free at olympicchannel.com, its mobile apps and on connected TV devices.

“We are incredibly pleased to be able to showcase our incredible athletes to the world as part of the media rights agreement between World Lacrosse and the Olympic Channel” said Stephanie Migchelsen, President of the ELF.  “We have the opportunity to showcase some of the most competitive matches and show the world how amazing the sport of lacrosse is.”

World Lacrosse is the international federation for men’s and women’s lacrosse, responsible for providing effective leadership and governance of the sport internationally while supporting the continued growth of lacrosse worldwide.  World Lacrosse currently has 62 member-National Governing Bodies and three Continental Federations — including the European Lacrosse Federation — worldwide.
