On Tuesday, May 2, World Lacrosse, Oneida County and Mohawk Valley Garden held a press conference announcing that the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships will be held in Utica, New York in the United States.

Speakers included Jim Scherr, CEO of World Lacrosse; Anthony Picente, Oneida County Executive; Robert Esche, Mohawk Valley Garden President; Marc Riccio, CEO of USA Lacrosse and Fawn Porter, athlete for the Haudenosaunee national team.
