The United States rolled to its second win at the 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship by pulling away from the Haudenosaunee, 14-3.
The Haudenosaunee stayed close in the first half, trailing 4-2, but the United States’ 5-1 third quarter and 5-0 fourth quarter were too much to handle.
The United States won 17 of 21 face-offs and limited the Haudenosaunee to just 14 shots total while amassing 53 shots of its own.
Jack Speidell and Owen Duffy starred for the United States with three goals and three assists for Speidell and a single-game high seven assists for Duffy. Timothy Shannehan added four goals and an assist. Zach Hayashi excelled on face-offs.
Chace Cogan had two goals to lead the Haudenosaunee. Noah Snyder also scored a nifty behind the back goal.
Ryder Johnson made 20 saves.
The United States improved to 2-0 with a stronghold on the top spot in Pool A ahead of a Tuesday matchup against Australia. The Haudenosaunee fell to 0-2 and will face Canada on Monday.
