The four men’s play-in winners will look to stay hot and sink their opponents in the first round of the playoffs, who had a day off on Tuesday.
Japan is in its first ever men’s box championship taking on a top-ten finisher from 2019 in the Netherlands, who pulled away from Italy yesterday.
Czechia and Germany are two familiar foes that have met in European box competitions frequently, and Germany will have to slow down the extremely potent Czech attack.
Ireland has rolled through its campaign so far without little drama, but Australia will present a whole new challenge as both teams are full of veteran talent from past top-ten squads.
Israel and Finland meet in another high-profile matchup, as the two teams squared off for fifth place in 2019. Finland rebounded well from its loss to Japan in pool play to coast by Slovakia, but will need its best effort to match an impressive Israel team.
In the women’s play-in, both Hong Kong, China and Finland will try to find their first wins in Utica and take down Ireland and Netherlands.
All four the men’s playoff games will be streamed on ESPN+.
The other ten games of the day will be be streamed on WL TV.
