The Pan-American Men’s Lacrosse Championship begins Monday, with nine teams competing in Kingston, Jamaica over seven days.
The championship will serve as a qualifier for the 2027 WL Men’s Championship in Tokyo, with the top five teams qualifying for the 16-team event.
Live statistics throughout the event will be available here. The championship will be streamed on WL TV with an event pass available for US$25.
Games will be held at Stadium East, as Jamaica welcomes teams back to Kingston after last hosting the 2023 PALA Sixes Cup.
The top three ranked teams in men’s field – United States, Canada and the Haudenosaunee – will look to secure a return to the men’s championship after sweeping the podium in its last three editions.
Jamaica, Mexico and Puerto Rico earned the spot at the 2023 WL Men’s Championship through the 2022 PALA qualifier in Colombia, with Jamaica and Puerto Rico going on to finish in the top ten.
Colombia and Argentina have appeared in multiple men’s championships, while the U.S. Virgin Islands made its WL-championship debut in box in 2024, and is ranked 14th.
The week of action in Kingston features five days of pool play, with the top two teams in each pool advancing to the medal round and securing qualification to Tokyo.
The third place teams in each pool will play for fifth place on Saturday in a direct battle for the final Men’s Championship spot.
