Puerto Rico coasted past Kenya in a 29-3 win to close day three of the 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship in Seogwipo, Korea.
Puerto Rico put up at least 20 goals for the second straight game and leads the championship with 49 goals total. The attack was remarkably efficient on the night, scoring on 64% of its shots, while the defense held Kenya to six shots total.
At 2-0, Puerto Rico is in great shape to make the play-in round as one of the top two teams in Pool E, with Germany and Chinese Taipei both set to play their second game against each other on Monday.
Puerto Rico went 30 of 36 on face-offs, with Chris Testa and Wilfredo Crispin contributing.
10 different players got on the scoresheet in the offensive barrage, with six recording five or more points.
Nick Testa led the cast with 10 points on five goals and five assists, followed by Joseph Rafferty’s nine points, and six points each for Sean Laureano and Lorenzo Varona.
Razaq Saleh made six saves for Kenya, while Benjamin Mulesi scored twice.
Puerto Rico will close out pool play on Tuesday against Chinese Taipei while Kenya plays Germany.
