JLA Chairman Yusuke Sasaki said: “Lacrosse has the power to connect people across all differences and boundaries. The friendships forged among young generations across borders through lacrosse are lifelong, and we believe that if each individual becomes a leader in their respective country in the future, all conflicts and disputes around the world can be avoided. This is the wish embedded in this belief. Believing in this inherent power of sports, Japanese lacrosse has grown to this point. This year, with the immense support of NISSIN FOODS, a global brand connected by lacrosse, we are truly delighted to host this historic event, where the global lacrosse community will gather in Tokyo. We hope that this tournament will unite all participants and stakeholders under the banner of our slogan: ‘Lacrosse Makes Friends.'”

In addition to the title partnership, the logo has been revealed for the women’s championship, which honors the deep history of Japan. The mark includes numerous national symbols: a red circle symbolizing the rising sun; a depiction of Mt. Fuji, one of the world’s most iconic cultural sites; the Seigaiha pattern of endless, calm waves, representing the wish for eternal peace; and the modern digital expression utilizing dots, contrasting with traditional motifs.

The field for the championship includes 16 teams that all qualified through continental championships for the first time in World Lacrosse history. The schedule will be announced in the coming months.
