Israel picked up its second win in Korea by coasting past Kenya, 20-4, in placement play at the 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship on Wednesday.
Israel led 7-0 after the first quarter and enjoyed an all-around solid performance on the afternoon.
Israel advanced in the bracket towards 13th place and will face the winner of Hong Kong, China vs. New Zealand on Thursday at 4:10 p.m.
Kenya will enter a round robin for 17th through 19th place, playing again on Thursday at 9:10 a.m.
Israel outshot Kenya 39-19 and posted near 50% efficiency on the day with 20 goals on 39 shots.
Israel also won two-thirds of the face-offs thanks to Jacob Coneh. Eyvatar Bahar did his part in goal with six saves on 10 shots.
Six players had multi-goal outings for Israel, and Gary Felsher tallied six goals and an assist.
Neval Otieno made five saves for Kenya while Benjamin Mulesi was among the four goalscorers.
