Ghana withdrawn from 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship

World Lacrosse regrets to confirm that Ghana has been withdrawn from the 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship in Jeju Island, Korea, due to challenges in obtaining travel visas. We acknowledge the hard work and dedication the athletes invested in preparing for this event, and their absence will be felt at the championship.

The championship will proceed as scheduled with 19 teams competing for the world title. Ghana’s pool play matches will be recorded as forfeit wins for the opposing teams, and modifications have been made to the placement schedule to account for the change.

The revised format for the championship can be found here.

The updated schedule can be found here.
