Eight teams make their debut at the the 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship on day two in Seogwipo, including the four top four finishers at the last edition of the event in Pool A.
Play begins at 11 a.m. local time (UTC+9) with a gold medal rematch between the United States and Canada and continues with four more games, highlighted by a bronze medal rematch and Korea’s second game.

All four Pool A teams advance directly to the quarterfinals and the top two teams from each of the four remaining pools will advance to the play-in round.

In 2022 at the Men’s U20 Championship, Australia got the best of the Haudenosaunee in pool play before the Haudenosaunee got revenge in the last game of the championship to take third. Both rosters have turned over for 2025 but the chance to make an early statement is always appealing.
Kenya and Chinese Taipei, both in Pool E, make their debut in an exciting game for fans to learn about the 2025 edition of the teams, who are returning from the 2022 edition of the event.
In the finale, Korea and Jamaica will have to summon a strong effort after both being taxed on day one. The nighttime atmosphere at Gongcheonpo Training Center will make for an exciting contest, and Korea rode that energy to a thrilling day one win. The host will will have a stern test on its hands against a desperate Jamaica side that pushed England to the very end on day one.
