10 teams make their debut in Jeju on the opening day of the 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship at the Gongcheonpo Training Center.
Play begins at 9 a.m. local time (UTC+9) with China vs. Mexico and continues with an enticing slate, featuring England vs. Jamaica, Ireland vs. Israel, Korea vs. New Zealand and Japan vs. Netherlands.

Live statistics will be available on worldlacrosse.sport, and streaming is available on WL TV with an event pass, currently priced at US$35.
All five games should be hotly contested and will provide an opening day insight into many of the squads with playoff hopes in Pools B through E. The top two teams from each of the four pools will advance to the play-in round.
The host Korea in its first game will be a can’t-miss contest against Asia-Pacific rivals New Zealand at 7 p.m. in front of home support.
Japan’s rapid development will be on display in the opener against a Netherlands side stacked with talent at 7:10 p.m.
Ireland against Israel is also a highly anticipated contest between two of the strongest programs in the European Lacrosse Federation at 12:10 p.m.
Jamaica will test itself against England in a rematch of two top-ten finishers from 2022 with Jamaica looking to gain ground after its defeat in Limerick at 12 p.m.
Both China and Mexico will see their first game as an opportunity for a statement win, with the extra energy of opening the entire championship at 9 a.m.
