Czechia finished in sixth place at The World Games 2025 in women’s sixes competition in Chengdu, China, improving two spot from its debut at The World Games 2022.
Anna Lottmann, one of Czechia’s seasoned core players, led the Czechia attack in her second trip to The World Games with 21 points in four games on five goals and 16 assists. Lottmann’s 16 assists were tied for the most of any player in the tournament with Kenzie Kent of the United States, who played five games. In Czechia’s final outing, Lottmann put up six assists on 11 goals against Great Britain.
Czechia’s significant moment came in pool play against Ireland, when Czechia got revenge for its defeat in the gold medal game of the European Sixes Qualifier in March in overtime with an emotional 16-10 victory.
Lottmann had two goals and four assists in the game to tie for the team-high in points.
“I have goosebumps because it’s such a meaningful win for us,” Lottmann said after the game.

Lottmann, at age 34, has been a longtime star for Czechia with four appearances at World Lacrosse championships including three at senior women’s championships in 2009, 2017 and 2022. In 2017, Lottmann had 18 goals and 11 assists and ranked ninth among all athletes at the 2022 Women’s Championship with 13 assists.
Lottmann helped Czechia qualify for the 2026 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship in dramatic fashion as it stunned Italy for the final spot at the Women’s European Lacrosse Championship in a 15-14 thriller. She finished the tournament with a team-high 26 points in eight games on 13 goals and 13 assists.
The 2026 Women’s Championship will be held in Tokyo, Japan from July 24 to August 2.
