Ireland and Mexico’s wins highlight day two at the women’s U20 championship

Sixteen teams competed in eight games of action on day two of the 2024 World Lacrosse Women’s U20 Championship in Hong Kong, China, with every team in the field having competed at least once.

Ireland knocked off Japan in a thrilling Pool D matchup, while Mexico overturned a six-goal deficit to defeat Scotland in Pool C.

The Haudenosaunee, Puerto Rico and Australia pulled away from early challenges while Canada, England and the United States enjoyed sizable victories.
