With a playoff spot already locked up, Puerto Rico finished its pool play campaign in the women’s U20 championship with a 23-2 win over Germany at Shek Kip Mei Sports Park.
Puerto Rico finished with a 3-1 record and the second seed in Pool A.

After the conclusion of play on Tuesday, Puerto Rico finished with the seventh overall seed. It will take on the United States in a rematch of pool play action in the quarterfinals at 11 a.m. HKT on Wednesday.
Four players scored three or more goals for Puerto Rico and another three had two goals.
Maya Maldonado led the way with three goals and four assists and McKenzie Didio added four goals and two assists. Maldonado was named the player of the match.
Lucia Nash went 8/11 on draw controls for Puerto Rico and Karina Herrera went 11/12, with three goals as well.
Anne-Sophie Hohmann made six saves for Germany, which will be back in action on Thursday in placement play at 11 a.m. HKT against Korea.
