Head Coach Opening in Germany

Position Description:
The DHC Hannover Women’s Lacrosse Teams are currently looking for a head coach for the upcoming season, starting end of September 2013. The program consists of 3 teams, two women’s’ and a youth team (under 16). If applicable teaching lacrosse in schools will be an additional part of the job.
About us:
Our first team is the two-time reigning German National Champion and won the German-Czech Cup last year. In the European Club Championships we ranked 3rd for the last two years. The second team competes in the second northern league. The girls’ team is currently renewing.
We are ambitious and dedicated. We want to compete on a high level including international tournaments. Besides we love trophies! We have several current or former German National Team members or u19 World Cup participants on our roster.
Our goals are:
Defending the National Championship. Develop and grow the game locally. Recruit more (young) players for the second and youth team.
The DHC Hannover has exceptional training facilities including two artificial turf fields and a natural grass field. The field hockey section is also competing on a high level both women and men.
Qualifications:
Several years of coaching at high school or collegiate level or comparable experience

Letters of recommendation from coaches, athletic directors or comparable persons that can support your character and ability to coach a top team on national German level are welcome but not a necessary precondition

Appointment: Part-time
Salary: 750€, includes social and health insurance
