- World Lacrosse’s Top Five Games of 2024: United States surges past Canada in timeless thriller to claim first women’s box championship
The 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships continues with the first set of knockout games in the men’s box championship on Wednesday and the final day of pool play in the women’s box championship.
There are 10 games of action total with six in the men’s box championship and four in the women’s box championship.

Eight teams will compete in the play-in round for a spot in the first round of the playoffs, which opens a 12-team bracket.
Pool A will also wrap up action with two games at the Mary C. Winder Community Center with the Haudenosaunee taking on England at 4:30 p.m. and the United States meeting Canada for a primetime blockbuster at 8 p.m.
Two of the final four games of pool play in the women’s box championship will also be at the Mary C. Winder Community Center, as Canada takes on Ireland at 9:30 a.m. before the Haudenosaunee face the Netherlands at 1 p.m.
Both men’s Pool A matchups will be televised on the United States on ESPNU, and the games will also be streamed on ESPN+.
