Australia powers past Scotland for second win in Pool C

Australia continued its defense of its bronze medal at the women’s U20 championship with a convincing 19-7 win over Scotland

Australia improved to 2-0 in pool C while Scotland fell to 0-2.

Australia opened the game on a 6-0 run and controlled proceedings from there.

Natalie Eastwood and Jordy Watts combined to make six saves in net.

Rowan Scobie scored three goals for Scotland and Lulu MacLeod added two.

Australia will face another 2-0 team on Sunday in Italy in an enticing battle for Pool C supremacy.

Scotland has a day off before it also faces Italy on Monday.
