Garlinghouse brings more than 15 years of leadership in the sport, having served as a member of the USA Lacrosse Executive Committee from 2016-22 following a stint on the USA Lacrosse Foundation Board (2006-12). She was also a board member for the Tewaaraton Foundation from 2014-19 and was national co-chair of the National Campaign for Lacrosse, a US$15 million effort to fund a new headquarters for USA Lacrosse that also provided support for the organization’s sports science and safety efforts, as well as its focus on underserved communities.
In addition to her lacrosse experience, Garlinghouse has worked in a variety of industries, including private equity, politics and the arts, where her focus was marketing and public relations. She previously worked for Podesta Associates, Disney (Go.com) and Hellman & Friedman LLC, and currently serves on the Princeton Varsity Club Executive Committee and is on the boards of trustees for Choate Rosemary Hall and Sacred Heart Schools Atherton.
Garlinghouse graduated from Princeton University, where she played lacrosse and was an All-American. She also holds a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard University.
