Eight teams advanced to the quarterfinals of the Women’s European Sixes Qualifier for The World Games 2025 after 12 games of action on Thursday in Portugal.
Germany, Israel and Czechia won their pools with undefeated records, while Poland, Netherlands and Ireland also secured spots with two wins each. The seventh and eighth place seeded teams are Switzerland and Spain.
The bracket is now finalized for the rest of the qualifier, with quarterfinal action on Friday, followed by semifinals on Saturday. The two semifinal winners will secure their spots at The World Games 2025 in August in Chengdu, China, joining six other teams. All times listed are GMT.

In the three matchups between undefeated teams on Thursday, Israel narrowly edged Poland 10-7, Germany held off the Netherlands 8-6, and Czechia pulled away from Ireland 11-6.
Through two days of action, Israel’s attack has been a standout with 56 goals total and four players recording 10 or more goals each, led by Rachel Rosenberg.
Germany has boasted the best defense in the competition so far, allowing just nine goals in three games, with goalkeepers Marianna Grosse and Celina Aniolek combining for a 64% save percentage on shots on goal.
Czechia has displayed a balanced attack and defense, allowing just 10 goals with four players notching 10 or more points, led by Michaela Srchova.
Three of the quarterfinal matchups include the pool winners, with Ireland and the Netherlands squaring off as second-place finishers in an exciting matchup on Friday.
