The Forge claim men’s and women’s titles at The Fly

The fifth edition of The Fly concluded on Sunday in Manchester with Forge claiming men’s and women’s titles in sixes competition.

The titles were the second in a row for the men’s team and the fourth in a row for the women’s team. Drew Wilkinson was the MVP for the men’s team and Ella Malik was the MVP for the women’s team.

The women’s final came down to the very last seconds, with Forge hanging on to a one-goal lead against Hustle, who nearly tied the game with 20 seconds left.

The men’s Forge squad defeated Rise, 22-13.

Some of the top women’s athletes will compete again in sixes for Great Britain at The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China.
