The Boston Guard held off the New York Charging, 22-17, in the final of the inaugural WLL Championship Series.
Caroline Weeks led the way with three goals and four assists while Dempsey Arsenault and Charlotte North each added five points.
Izzy Scane recorded six goals and an assist for the Charging.

“I’m so proud of this group, we did everything possible to get to where we are right now,” said North to ESPN after the game. “To see the smile on their faces is amazing … first championship but hopefully, not the last.”
